Originally from Las Vegas, NV, Rebecca studied nursing at BYU-Idaho and got her first nursing job at Madison Memorial Hospital, working in Labor & Delivery. She has grown to love Rexburg, and her nursing experience at the hospital inspired her to go back to school and study to become a midwife. She’s interested in gaining long-term relationships with her patients and appreciates the fact that midwifery can relate to a woman’s entire experience, from adolescence to menopause.
Rebecca lives with her husband, their young daughter, and their dog, Buddy. The couple struggled with infertility for several years, a challenge that gave Rebecca a new appreciation for pregnancy, women’s health issues, and the birthing process.
