The “OUR Joy to Everyone” community concert on December 14 at 6:30 P.M. in the Rexburg Tabernacle is a FREE event, with the goal to raise awareness and welcome donations for Operation Underground Railroad.
On December 14 at 6:30 P.M. in the Rexburg Tabernacle, OUR Joy to Everyone, a community benefit Christmas concert will be held. Christmas time is meant to be a magical, joyous time. Yet, there are many hearts in the world that suffer. Families and citizens of Rexburg are invited to come together, as we seek to lift up the heads that hang down and hearts that are heavy through both a wonderful musical program and the opportunity to donate to Operation Underground Railroad (OUR).
OUR is a non-profit organization that rescues children from around the world who are captive in the horrific reality of child sex slavery. As stated on their website: “We are here to rescue them. We are not a government agency. We are a non-profit organization that relies one hundred percent on donations to save them. And we do it because no child should be a sex slave.”
The community concert is a FREE event with the goal to raise awareness and welcome donations for OUR. Featured in the event will be local singer, Preston Pugmire as well as the Sugar-Salem Swing Choir, and other talented singers who have been competitors and winners in the annual local event, Upper Valley Idol. Santa Claus will be making an appearance and free photographs with Santa will be available, compliments of Tyler Shearer Photography. Visit the concert’s event page on Facebook for more information.
